Delivering Disability Programmes

Herts Tennis and Middlesex LTA are excited to announce a joint venture in offering a Coach and Club forum on Delivering Disability Programmes. We will show how your county Open Court Team can support you as clubs and coaches to start or continue to build a programme that supports players with disabilities in their local community. This event will be relevant to both club committees, open court leads and coaches.

Plan for the day

• Welcome and outline of the disability tennis support available for clubs and coaches and how to start or grow their disability tennis programmes.
• On Court Learning Disability example session with practical delivery ideas run by Jon Wildman (head coach of Get Set 4 Tennis) with a Q&A after.
• Wheelchair tennis on court practical session run by Stuart Wilkinson (GB Wheelchair Coach) with a Q+A session after. Attendees who would like to bring a player they work with are welcome to.
• Networking Opportunities
• Light Refreshments will be available.
